I have fished the Bristol Channel for many years.

I am now restarting after a break of 10 years.

I have joined Clevedon Pier SeaAngling Club giving access to fishing at any time of day.

 

I needed to replace lines etc, so looked at braid vs mono, braid being much thinner so cutting wind and tide better, but being very expensive.

I have found a couple thin mono lines that I am trying out.

D.A.M Tectan and DIP Chromium Marine, both with a diameter of about 0.265mm vs 0.4mm for mono.

 

Species in 2011: Cod, Poor Cod, Pollock, Pout, Whiting, Mackerel, Garfish, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Sivler Eel, Painted Goby
